Booking Policies

The Citrus Hotel - Guest Registration Contract


Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in time is 4:00 PM.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Late check-out may be subject to an additional fee.


Parking:

Parking is available on hotel premises. Overflow parking is available in the adjacent lot.

Please note: The overflow parking lot may have uneven surfaces, potholes, or debris. The Citrus Hotel is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or personal injury that may occur in this lot. Guests park at their own risk.


Pet Policy:

We are a pet-friendly hotel and welcome a maximum of two (2) canine pets per room.

Combined pet weight must not exceed 75 lbs.

Pet fees apply. Please refer to our detailed Pet Policy for complete information.

Service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA regulations.


Room Condition and Damages:

Guests are responsible for any damage to the room or hotel property beyond normal wear and tear.

This includes, but is not limited to, missing or damaged towels, furniture, fixtures, flooding, or any other damage caused by negligence or misuse.

The Citrus Hotel reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card on file for the cost of repairs or replacement at the hotel's discretion.


Lost and Found:

The Citrus Hotel maintains a Lost and Found department.

We will ship belongings left at the hotel to the guest and charge the shipping cost to the credit card on file.


Non-Smoking Hotel:

The Citrus Hotel is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in guest rooms or inside the hotel. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. 


Pool Rules:

Pool hours are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

No outside food or drinks are allowed in the pool area.

No smoking in the pool area.

No lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk.


Credit Card Policy:

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.

A one-night deposit will be charged to your credit card upon reservation.

Credit card hold authorizations may be placed on your account to cover incidentals.

Holds on debit or credit cards are typically released within one to fourteen days after departure, depending on your bank's policy. Holds on foreign cards may last up to 30 days.


Cancellation Policy:  

Life happens. We get that. Reservations are fully refundable 72 hours prior to check-in. Reservations canceled 1-71 hours will be charged one night stay. To cancel a reservation, please call us at 352-742-7676.  


Other Policies:

Minimum registration age is 21 years.

All rooms are equipped with Smart TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi.
